Basically the website lets you tailor your own personal radio stations. It starts by asking you for a single band or song, and then it uses the information found in the Music Genome Project [link] to find music you'll like. This isn't just organized by genre, but by the musics instrumentation, vocals, harmonics, etc. I've been listening for two days now and it's only ever played two songs I didn't like, and if this ever happens you just press the thumbs-down button and a little note pops up that basically says, "sorry, we'll never ever play that song again...EVER".
The best part of this is that, not only do you get all the music you love on your computer FOR FREE, but you also get introduced to bands you otherwise never would have heard of and discover that you love to listen to them. There is no reason why you should't get this. Seriously, it's great.
